I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I knew I wanted to be an artist from that point. Holding that belief/wish, I attended Northwest Missouri University from 1970-1972 on an art scholarship.

Since then, I have pursued my passion for art and have had shows in Pasadena, CA; Taos, NM; Washington, DC; Tulsa, OK; Durham, NC; as well as numerous exhibits here in Lawrence, KS. I have been a frequent donor to benefits for the Lawrence Arts Center, Lawrence Humane Society, and Douglas County AIDS Project (featured artist 2007). My artwork has been published on publicity materials for theatrical works and was chosen for the cover of a recently published play; "Sonnets for an Old Century", by Jose Rivera (screen play writer for "The Motorcycle Diaries").
